Ehrlich Pest Control, formerly Connor’s offers two types of bed bug inspection: visual and K-9. Our bed bug experts know what to look for and where to look for bed bugs in your home or business. But because bed bugs are tiny and adept at hiding in out-of-the-way places, detecting all of their hiding places through visual inspection is difficult. For this reason, we have several treatment options available in order to totally eliminate a bed bug population. Our approach to getting rid of bed bugs is to effectively kill them with minimal disruption to your home or business environment. After a thorough bed bug inspection, we recommend a customized bed bug treatment approach using heat treatment, conventional treatment, or fumigation.
Bed bug heat treatment
Heat treatment, or thermal remediation, involves the application of extreme heat to kill bed bugs. More thorough and effective than bed bug powder, our specially designed heat-generating equipment creates and maintains a precise high temperature that the bed bugs and their eggs cannot survive. This revolutionary treatment is environmentally responsible and requires less planning and preparation.

Conventional bed bug control
When it comes to conventional bed bug treatment, environmentally responsible products are applied in conjunction with steam treatment. This treatment option is relatively more time-consuming and causes some living space disruption. For this reason, it’s not typically the preferred method of treatment. Eliminating bed bugs using conventional methods requires a minimum of three intense treatments, usually scheduled two weeks apart.
Bed bug fumigation treatment
For residential buildings, fumigation is the most aggressive and effective treatment option. During fumigation, the building is secured in a gigantic plastic tent and the entire interior is treated with a product called Vikane. Because of its higher cost and significant planning and preparation requirements, we recommend fumigation for only the most problematic bed bug infestations. It is typically a last-ditch effort, as it can be disruptive and not as convenient for your family.
Professional bed bug treatments
No matter the treatment chosen, our thorough process always ends with a follow-up inspection to ensure success. If necessary, additional treatment will be administered until you are completely free of bed bugs. The team at Ehrlich Pest Control, formerly Connor’s is dedicated to doing whatever it takes to eliminate any bed bugs in your home, even if it takes multiple treatments.
