Ineffective Bed Bug Control
Friday, 2nd April 2010
Bed bugs are making a comeback, and homeowners are trying many different methods to get rid of them. According to ConsumerAffairs.com, most of these treatments do not work, and in some cases, they actually make the problem worse.
One way people try to deal with bed bugs is removing the furniture from an infested room for several days. It is their belief they will eliminate the bugs by removing the furniture. What they actually do, though, is spread the bugs to other areas of the home. The infestation becomes worse because it is no longer isolated to one room.
Do it yourself methods are also ineffective. While pesticides and bombs may kill some bugs, they will not treat the infestation as a whole. Thus, the homeowner will still have bedbugs.
The best way for people to eliminate bed bugs is to contact a pest control professional. A professional will be able to use techniques that are not available to homeowners. Thus, they will be able to eliminate the bed bugs and make the home safe for the inhabitants.
