Dealing with Stinkbugs
Friday, 10th September 2010
Stinkbug season is here, which means people need to seal up cracks and crevices in an effort to prevent the pests from entering their homes. However, some bugs still may get through and come inside. When that is the case, people must effectively handle the bugs.
According to Leesburg Today, people who have stinkbugs inside of their homes should place caulk around their baseboards, trim and light fixtures. This will prevent stinkbugs from leaving attics and basements and moving into other areas of the home.
Leesburg Today also recommends people spray the pests with insecticides and then vacuum them up. When people do this, they must make sure they follow the instructions on the pesticide label. It is dangerous to administer insecticides improperly.
Those who do not want to administer the pesticides on their own can contact a pest control professional. Professionals use safe chemicals, so people do not have to worry about putting their families or pets in harm’s way.
