Bed Bugs: Not Just for Bedrooms

There’s a common misconception that bed bugs isolate themselves to bedrooms.  According to the Wall Street Journal, that could not be further from the truth.  In fact, bed bug infestations in commercial buildings are on the rise. 

The spread of infestations in commercial buildings has hit all industries and sectors. For instance, bed bugs can be found in schools, hospitals, libraries and banks.  While these types of buildings face some serious issues, they do not even come close to the problems in the hotel industry.  Hotels have to battle bed bugs on a regular basis. When they lose the battle, they have to deal with complaints from guests.

Business owners are encouraged to have a licensed pest control company inspect their buildings for bed bugs.  If bed bugs are found, the pest control company will be able to use the latest technology to eliminate the pests quickly.  This is essential for companies that want to remain in good favor with employees and customers.
