Bed bugs are popping up in homes around the world, which means many people are trying to get rid of the pests on their own. According to the Toronto Sun, that is not an easy feat.

The publication states that bed bugs are not easily controlled or eliminated.   Pesticides and chemicals are not effective in controlling bed bugs, and the bugs are even difficult to squish. In addition, they can hide quickly. If you spot a bed bug, it will likely be out of sight before you have a chance to take action.

The Toronto Sun also states bed bugs reproduce quickly. That, coupled with the fact they are so hard to get rid of, can cause many people to end up with serious infestations. 

The Toronto Sun states the best way to get rid of bed bugs is to contact a pest control professional. Professionals are trained to detect and eliminate bed bugs quickly. They use high tech techniques to get rid of all bed bugs in the home.
